Islay Mist 12 Year Scotch Whisky Blend 700ml
Winner of the 2008 World Whiskies Award for Best Scotch Blend, 12 Years and Under, Islay Mist 12 Year Old, while being the newest addition to the range, is also perhaps the whisky which most embodies the Islay Mist spirit. A delicate blend of Laphroaig with complex spice, citrus and nutty undertones.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Peaty, smouldering, heather and treacle. Mature and complex. Mixing the elements of Islay.
Palate: Well balanced between dried fruits with a damson like sweetness and heathery smoke.
Finish: Long. Luxurious, tobacco, slightly leathery.
