Tasting note: Bright gold colour / shows good cling. Nicely scented with soft, semi-sweet notes of cream sponge cake, mocha, a touch of raw sugar and white pepper. Relaxed and creamy on entry, builds with good concentration into a semi-sweet, dried banana, vanilla wafer and clove profile with a very soft, whitepepper overlay. Finish sees an interesting grassy / elderflower-like note enter adding freshness. Concludes balanced, delicate and dry with moderate persistence and lingering banana cake in the fade. A satisfying, light’n’easy house pour rum for all applications. 40% Alc./Vol.
